Privacy policy

Hiring Table (“we”) is an independent hiring practice based in Bengaluru, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: hello@hiringtable.com.

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, email address, LinkedIn link, target role, company name and any message you write.
• Documents you send: for example your CV, and other material you share so we can do the work.
• Results you ask us to email you from our CV self-check or hiring health check.
• Payment details are handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your card or UPI details.
• Basic visit statistics, if we switch on privacy-focused analytics on this site. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and to deliver the service you asked for.
• To send the checklist or results you asked for, once.
• To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices and tax records.
• To improve our website and services, using information that does not identify you where possible.

We only send you marketing emails if you clearly ask us to, and you can stop them at any time.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your CV, name or results as a sample or testimonial without your written permission.
• We do not upload your CV to public AI tools. If we use AI-assisted tools for any part of your project, we tell you.

Who else handles your information

We use service providers to run the business, and they process information for us under their own terms. Depending on how you use the site, these may include: website hosting (Cloudflare); email and file storage (for example Zoho Mail and Google tools such as Sheets and Drive); a payment provider; and a calendar-booking tool. Some of these providers store data outside India.

How long we keep it

• Project files, including your CV: up to 12 months after we deliver your final files, so we can answer follow-up questions. Then we delete them.
• Enquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months.
• Invoices and accounting records: as long as the law requires.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. These rights apply under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws where they apply to you. Email hello@hiringtable.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can access it. No online system is completely secure, so please do not send us anything you would not want to share, such as government ID numbers or bank details. We do not need them.

Children

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
